First of all I would like to thank JOOLA for sponsoring me. Already, they have gone out of their way to help me succeed and play my best. A week before the trials in San Diego I needed a new pair of shoes and rubbers. I contacted Nan, who is now managing JOOLA USA and she assured me that everything would be ok and could get me the equipment. Within a couple days I received the shoes and rubber and could already realize what a great investment JOOLA would be.
Presently I am focusing on becoming physically quicker. If I can be in good position I will always be able to make quality shots. I need to work on making small adjustments when the ball is barely out of position. This means staying on my toes and making little hops after every shot. This keeps me light on my feet and able to change direction easier.

As for tournament preparation, the next tournament looks like it will be the Golden State Open in May. About two months after that will be the US Open. During the summer I will be training full time in the Bay Area with local players, Stefan and Dennis. In August, there is a possibility that John Leach and I will be going to Germany to play in the third league for Grenzau. We would be there for 3-4 months and return in December, allowing us to play in the Nationals. I am very thankful to Stefan for making the connections to let us play in this awesome setting. So far, the rate I am learning German is about one word every three days. I probably need to increase that figure.

Talk to you next time,
Trevor
