The 2007 US Open tournament started on July 4. I was excited and was expecting to have an amazing time there. And as it turned out, I did have a great time, maybe even better.

The first day was incredible. I played Women’s Singles and got to play with some great players. Though I lost, it was a new experience and I learned many new things.

On the second day, I played only one event so I had time to watch the professional players playing. I was so amazed by their skill and agility. They were just so unbelievable! It must have taken a lot of hard work to be so good.

I was very happy on the third day because I won a title. It was Girls’ 11 and Under Singles. I also played with a chopper in another event. Even though I lost with the score 2:3, it was a very good experience playing with a different style. I was taught from this match that I needed to be more patient to play with a chopper.

The fourth day and also the last day of the tournament was the most exciting day of all. I won Under 2100 Women’s RR. But that wasn’t it. The most exciting things were the matches in Women’s and Men’s Singles. The matches were so intense and exciting. The player’s loops were very good and consistent. Especially, Aleksandar from Serbia played so well. His backhand loop is very fast and powerful.

Overall, this tournament is one of my best tournaments ever! After this tournament, I need to work hard for improving my foot work, my backhand loop, and my serve.
