It was such an exciting trip at Canada. I was just supposed to play a tournament, but the best part about it was the snow. After I was done with every match, my friends and I always went out to play in the snow. We built snowmen and we had lots of snowball fights. But, we also got pretty wet.
I played two tournaments, the North American Championships and the Canadian Junior Open. The tournaments were from April 7 to April 15. I was very impressed by the Indian players because they won almost every event. Before, I didn’t think that they would be so good. But after I saw them play, I wanted to be just as good as them or even better.
The ping pong part was fun, but I also made a lot of new friends and learned many things. I was very sad to leave Canada but I was very happy to make the team to go to South Africa for the 2007 World Cadet Challenge. Although, I miss my friends in Canada, I believe I will make new friends in South Africa. |
