 The most important table tennis event after the World Championships, the World Cup, is again being played on JOOLA tables as in the previous years. The showcourt table in the Catalan colours has been enthusiastically received.
Barcelona, the city of the Olympic Games in 1992, is host for the elite of men's table tennis. For Jörg Roßkopf, the city on the Costa Brava stands for a magic moment: here, he won the silver medal in men's doubles with Steffen Fetzner which remains, to date, the best achievement of German table tennis players at the Olympic Games.
And now again the best in the world are united in Spain. Record winner Ma Lin, world ranked no. 1 Wang Hao and World Champion Wang Liqin - China's aces all participate. Timo Boll, Vladimir Samsonov and Werner Schlager represent Europe and want a piece of the pie.
Our JOOLA player in Spain is Latin American Champion Liu Song, who will certainly cause some surprises with his attractive defensive play.
