Hey I'm back. I just played a tournament. It was Cary Cup. I did OKAY. The finals and semis and quarters were real exciting. Segn Toriala won over Wang Zhen. 4-2. All right, i am training hard with my coaches and preparing for some other tournaments like in May South Bend tournament. Allright cya.

Wow! my blog is the most popular blog. My coach told me about it. I am enjoying playing in the USATT league here in the Bay Area. I am in the U3900 team for Palo Alto Club. hi, its been a while since i've updated.. but anyways as you might know, the worlds have been going on for a couple of days and i've been following the news on it... if you go to ITTF's webpage, and press media.. then you can watch recorded vids of some matches.. a lot of the matches were very fun to watch and i learned somethings while i was watching them..

First, of which is that no player that is developing a modern game hits on the backhand. Yes, they may punch block at times, but when attacking or counter attacking the vast majority of shots is the backhand loop. I am looking forward to the competition at Berkeley in early March. I have been dedicatedly trained and have devoted quite a lot of time in practice. I really want to improve my skills and I want more trophies too. I am aiming to get at least one trophy in the berkely competition.

World Juniors, Nationals, and Olympic Trials

Hello all. The last month has been pretty exciting for me. I played in three major events across the U.S.: the World Junior Championships at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, the U.S. Nationals, and the U.S. Olympic Trials. Given the amount of play I have had over the last few weeks, I thought I would give you the rundown on how everything went.

hi everyone, i just recently play in the 2008 olympic trials.. i had a very close lose that i should've won. i was up 2-0 and 3-2 against shashin.. and i lost.. o well.. the place was amazing and player got free snacks n drinks haha.. we went ot drexel's cafiteria for a free lunch.. it was a buffet.. yay.. but then i had to leave becuase midterms were coming up and i already missed 4 quizzesand friday was a review day, so yea...now i might jsut take a break.... for a looooonnng time.. hi everyone. Am back again. My friends Harry and Sheri have been missing in action for quite a while now. Not sure where they are. Maybe they feel I don't need TT coaching from them anymore. I was helping as a flag holder during the opening ceremony of the wrold championship at Stanford. It was really fun to see so many players come from all over the world. They played with different styles, strokes and tactics. I hope I can be part of the team soon!

2007 US Nationals

Since my children started playing competitively, I hardly get the chance to participate in tournaments, specially the US Open or the Nationals. As a parent and also a photographer at tournaments, it is definitely a hardship on my part to even play in one event. I reluctantly accepted to play U3200 doubles with Alan Tanti, a 9 year old from Grace Lin's San Gabriel Valley TTC.

Hey everybody. I hope you guys are enjoying your winter break and are training hard. I have training hard with Yand ShiGang and DiDi. By the way, in the U.S Nationals, I lost to Erick Shanah..... I was leading 2 games to 0 but I couldn't hang on. I almost 2 2200hundred players both 3-2 I lost. Oh well. Lesson learned. I made it in the quarterfinals of the under 13 and I lost to Anand Engineer 3-1. I made it also in the quarterfinals in the under 1900 RR but I lost to this frea [...]

hi, i hope everyone is enjoying their christmas vacation (or for those of you who dont celebrate christmas) / winter break. For nationals, this year was my last year in trying out for Cadets... although i didnt make it i got 6th place and learned what i needed to work on more. both the womens and mens QF, SF, and F were very exciting to watch. as i watch the younger kids play, i was amazed at howgood they were. well.. i have nothing more to say...
