Prachi's TT corner continues

Posted by Arun Jha in Untagged

Hey, it's me again. Lots of fun TT in December 2007. My first ever World Junior Table Tennis Championship and my first ever U.S Nationals event.  It was wonderful to see so many international juniors at the WJTTC. I participated in the Opening ceremony and that was COOL.  Got to see and play with so many different players at the US Nationals with all kinds of paddles and rubbers. Watchingthe finals of Men's and Women's events was exciting, too. I was not expecting Mark Hazinkski to lose. I did quite well overall. Getting the award from US Hall of Fame was really cooool!!! I hope to keep improving and doing better in the next US Nationals.

Foundation and Hard Work

Posted by Arun Jha in Untagged

Hi! I'm back! I just played Stanford two weeks ago and I performed well. My rating rose from 1300 to 1489, one hunderd and eighty-nine points. With persistence, focus, and good coaching my goal is to reach 1600 to 1700 by the Nationals this December.  My key focus area now is my foundation and I am getting great help from my coaches who constantly reinforce this point tome.

So signing off for now.... till next time.

Prachi Jha's Table Tennis Blog

Hi! I'm Prachi Jha, the newest member of Team Joola. I am so excited to be part of Team Joola. Lot's of amazing players are sponsered by Joola, like my coach and friends. I played in Stephan Feth's training camp over the summer, and he changed my topspin stroke. It was exciting to be coached by 4 time World champions. It is fun playing at Palo Alto, where, under the guidance of so many great coaches my game is sure to improve dramatically.
