Table tennis meets Bakersfield.

Hi Joolausa, last week I did a presentation. It was a sports night at a local specialized sports facility. My dad, my sister and I played in front of people from our city and taught them about table tennis. We brought our own table and barriars. People were amazed. The three of us basically played games with eachother the whole time and also played with the crowd. My dad and my sister talked to a lot of people and tried to teach them more about table tennis and tell them about our own club here in Bakersfield. It was very fun, I think we gave the basics of table tennis and even encouraged some to start playing!

Training...

My time is very limited. I have been training for the World Junior Championships, and I think I am almost ready. I have been preparing by: Lifting weights, running, and doing numerous drills. The only thing that i need to work on is my backhand. The power is there but I need to be more consistant. I need to shorten my stroke to be more precise. I only have roughly a month do prepare myselffor the World Junior Championships and Nationals.

I have been practicing for some upcoming tournaments.  If anyone knows some good tounaments in Florida let me know. School  is my number one priority; you never know if your going to break your ankle and never be able to walk again. I am currently going to college instead of highschool. I plan on transfering to a larger college to play table tennis. I play other sports like golf too, so I stay really busy. I am looking ofward to my next blog; I hope I have more news. Thanks

Foundation and Hard Work

Hi! I'm back! I just played Stanford two weeks ago and I performed well. My rating rose from 1300 to 1489, one hunderd and eighty-nine points. With persistence, focus, and good coaching my goal is to reach 1600 to 1700 by the Nationals this December.  My key focus area now is my foundation and I am getting great help from my coaches who constantly reinforce this point tome.

So signing off for now.... till next time.

My friend Harry

I am back again. This time I want to talk about my 2 new friends who are helping me improve my TT game. Their names are Harry and Sherry. Harry helps me more often than Sherry. He coaches me silently and watches me constantly as I play TT. He stands behind me. He does not like being touched so I have to say sorry to him everytime I bump into him. Someday I shall share his picture with you all. He is FUNNY in a weird way :)  I am continuing with improving my game with practice and coaching. Bye for now.

Hello everybody. I am sort of new to Joola. Joola is a great company and I am very thankful for being in it. Recently, I have played the Charlotte October Loopalazoola and the Atlanta Giant Round Robin. Both of these tournaments were succesfull to me individualy. I am training hard for both the Baltimore Teams Competition and the U.S Nationals. I hope to see everyone there.

The two Ps

I have a routine training and practise schedules for both Ping Pong and Piano, one I love dearly and one I hate. It has been so different facing these two hobbies( my mom wants me to play piano ). I can certainly put a lot of energy and effort in anything to do with Ping Pong. I love every minute that I spend with this sport. My coaches have been teaching me some special techniques, you will see!

I am gonna try my very best to see where this fun sport takes me as I heard that when girl gets her rating up to 2200, Univ. of Berkelery will take approve the enrollment application right away!
