 For the first time the European junior ranking list tournament included cadets as well as juniors. In Sheffield JOOLA junior stars Amelie and Petrissa Solja and English player Gavin Evans started as favourites in their respective competitions. The sisters from Wörth in Rhineland-Palatinate competently dominated the girl's competitions. By so doing, Petrissa Solja made European history as first cadet winner of the European Top 10.
Gavin Evan's 3rd place in the cadet's competition was a little disappointing. Gavin hadn't lost a match at previous international tournaments, but before his home crowd in Sheffield he suffered tight defeats against the ultimate number one and two.
But two gold and one bronze is an excellent result for our young talents at the most important junior tournament after the European Youth Championships. As at the Europe Top 12 in Frankfurt, the youth competition in Sheffield was played on JOOLA equipment. |

 Probably the most important table tennis event in Germany, the Liebherr Europe Top 12, is played entirely on JOOLA equipment. This will be the premiere of the new, extra hard JOOLA Gold Ball. And the spectators will certainly be also enthusiastic about the showcourt table in the exclusive Germany design.
In addition to the usual sales booth in the Frankfurt hall, JOOLA also has a fun park with various skills games to try and fantastic prizes to win.
On Sunday you can play table tennis on the mini table against Germany's "Mr. Table Tennis", Europe Top 12 player Chen Weixing and young talent Gavin Evans. |

 JOOLA USA would like to applaud all of our sponsored players who competed at the 2008 US Olympic Trials. John Leach, Sean Lonergan, Khoa Nguyen, Trevor Runyan, Amaresh Sahu, Charlie Sun, and Han Xiao!
Congratulations to Han, who finished with a record of 9-2. He placed 2nd in the competition, and will take part in reperesenting the US Team in April against Canada, and also at the World Championships. Joining Han at the world championships will also be Sean Lonergan! Congratulations to both JOOLA players! |

 The World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Palo Alto have started. The location is one of the world's most famous and best universities: Stanford University, where the sports elite of the USA study. As a result the conditions for the athletes are outstanding. The WJC is taking place in three halls.
 These are the 5th World Junior Championships held in the USA. From the beginning JOOLA has been the equipment supplier and supports the ITTF with their junior progamme „Where the future begins“. JOOLA have designed four special show court tables featuring the American „Stars and Stripes“ which will certainly contribute to a successful JWC.
